Impact of Local TV Programmes & Movies on Hong Kong People's Identity and Values

As the two most popular forms of mass media, films and TV programs have played an important role in Hong Kong culture. Therefore, from July 2009 - July 2010,  Savantas Policy Institute and the Powersoft Consultancy Limited conducted a survey and a series of focus groups to understand the impact of these two forms of media on Hong Kong people's identity. The study also aimed to understand the current values and identity of Hong Kong people, through examining how they perceive the mass media content.
