Savantas Policy Institute conducted a research on the Guangdong-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area this summer and compiled our findings into the "Greater Bay Area Development Proposals". The result had been presented to the Central Government and the HKSAR Government in October.

In March this year, the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was mentioned in the premier's annual report. The goal of the initiative is to break down various barriers within the region and to make the region a more open, innovative, integrated and livable area. Hong Kong, Macao and the nine Guangdong cities will benefit immensely if the tremendous economic potential of the area can be unleashed.
